These terms govern your use of the Approve & Lock for Confluence app ("the App"). By installing or using the App you agree to them. They supplement, and do not replace, the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use between you and Atlassian.
1. Licence
Subject to payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on the Atlassian site(s) for which it is licensed, for the duration of your subscription.
2. Billing
The App is sold through Atlassian Marketplace ("Paid via Atlassian"). Pricing, invoicing, taxes, renewals and refunds are handled by Atlassian under their terms. We do not process payments and do not receive your payment details.
3. What the App does
The App records approval decisions against a specific version of a Confluence page and can apply Confluence edit restrictions when a page is approved. When a page changes after approval, the App marks the approval stale and releases any restriction it applied.
4. Limitations you should understand before relying on the App
- The App is not a records-management or regulatory compliance system. It is not validated for 21 CFR Part 11, ISO certification, or any regulated quality-management use, and must not be relied upon as such.
- Edit detection depends on the Atlassian platform. The App reacts to page events published by Confluence and re-verifies on view. Event delivery is controlled by Atlassian and is not guaranteed to be instantaneous.
- Edit restrictions are Confluence's mechanism, not ours. Users with sufficient Confluence permissions — including space and site administrators — can always remove restrictions.
- The App does not prevent editing. It restricts and records. Where a restriction cannot be applied, the App records the failure and falls back to flagging the page rather than silently claiming a lock.
5. Support
Support is provided by email at [email protected], in English, with a target first response within one business day.
6. Data
Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy. The App stores approval metadata in Atlassian-hosted storage and transmits nothing externally.
7. Warranty and liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the App is limited to the fees you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it, which deletes its stored data. We may terminate these terms for material breach.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict of law rules, and are subject to the jurisdiction of the Estonian courts.
